ESSU supports the internationalization of its faculty through exchange programs, research collaborations, and professional development opportunities. These initiatives allow faculty members to share expertise, engage in joint research, and bring global perspectives back to the classroom.
Programs & Partners
Faculty Research & Virtual Collaboration (UH Hilo)
ESSU has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo to spur cooperation through virtual classroom collaboration and faculty research [citation:19]. This includes Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) projects where faculty from both institutions co-teach and develop joint syllabi.
Regional Faculty Exchange (Samar Inter-University Consortium)
ESSU is part of a consortium with Samar State University (SSU), Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU), and the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP). This partnership facilitates the exchange of faculty and researchers, joint research projects, and capacity-building programs [citation:21].
