The Eastern Samar State UniversityβMain Campus community warmly welcomed its newest batch of students through the Walk of Welcome, organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC).
Representing their respective colleges, freshmen proudly marched around the campus while showcasing unique college chants performed with much enthusiasm and creativityβreflecting the vibrant identity of each college.
The freshmen were personally welcomed by ESSU President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., who encouraged the freshmen to make the most of their university journey. The event was made possible through the guidance of Dr. Jason D. Magalona, Head of Student Organizations and SSC Adviser, Mr. Philip Raymond B. Bote, Dean of Student Services and Alumni Affairs, and Dr. Aris A. Lapada. Vice President for Academic Affairs. Their presence manifested the Universityβs commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive and engaging student experience for new ESSUdyantes, as they spend the formative years of their university life within the institution.
Students also explored the Universityβs holistic student experience through the Club Recruitment Activity. Various Clubs welcomed and gave students opportunities for involvement, inviting them to join communities that align with their interests and passions; create meaningful friendships; and experience holistic growth beyond the four corners of the classroom.
The ESSU family warmly welcomes all freshmen to the University community. May the years ahead be filled with meaningful experiences and valuable lessons that will shape not only your academic journey but also the person you are destined to become. Welcome home, ESSUdyantes!![]()
