Eastern Samar State Universityโs governing board went in session for their 2nd Quarter Regular BOR meeting for academic year 2026 in Guiuan, Eastern Samar last Saturday, 9th of May 2026.
Before the session formally started, four members of the body took their oath as the two private sector representatives, Hon. Atty. Gilbert A. Escoto and Hon. Reynaldo C. Dorado Sr. renewed theirs, following their recent reelection to the board. Meanwhile, new ESSU Faculty Regent, Dr. Delbert A. Dala took the reins from outgoing regent, Hon. Gershon G. Escoto and outgoing student regent, Hon. Reyna Erika T. Rivera turned over the reins to the new student regent, Hon. Shiloh Isha M. Duran.
Chairman of the Board and CHED Commissioner, Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III was on site once again to meet with his BOR members and deliberate on key institutional priorities, directions, academic initiatives, and development programs.
