The 13th International Conference on Integrative Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (13th ICIDRRM) officially opens today, November 4โ6, 2026, bringing together a diverse community of experts, researchers, academicians, environmental advocates, disaster risk reduction practitioners, and professionals committed to advancing resilience and sustainability.
Hosted by Eastern Samar State University (ESSU), in collaboration with its international co-host institutions, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) of Taiwan, and Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) of Indonesia, this yearโs conference welcomes participants from different countries and regions, institutions, professional backgrounds, and areas of expertise.
As a hybrid international conference, the gathering is unfolding both on-site and online. Participants are arriving one by one at Kalea Hall, 2nd Floor, BIG Hotel, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines, while delegates from various locations are joining the proceedings virtually through Zoom.
With on-site registration officially closed after reaching the venueโs maximum capacity, we are anticipating a FULL HOUSE at Kalea Hall! The overwhelming response reflects the shared interest and commitment of the disaster resilience community to engage in this important international gathering.
This convergence of diverse perspectives and expertise creates a valuable platform for exchanging research, sharing innovative practices, strengthening institutional partnerships, and fostering meaningful conversations on the challenges and opportunities in disaster risk reduction and management.
More than an academic gathering, the 13th ICIDRRM is a collective commitment to advancing predictive, inclusive, and sustainable resilience in a changing climate.
Welcome to the 13th ICIDRRM!
