Led by the Vice President for Administration, Dr. Ruben E. Voloso and Vice President for External Affairs & Quality Assurance, Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, Eastern Samar State University showed its unity with the rest of the nation by partaking in the simultaneous nationwide flag-raising ceremony on Monday, 3rd of November 2026.
Bringing together the students, faculty members and non-teaching personnel of the university, the exercise expresses ESSU’s solid support for the Philippines as it hosts the upcoming 49th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, meant to celebrate the importance of regional unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility among Southeast Asian countries.
