University-wide OPCR and DPCR Calibration Workshop held at the Main Campus

Led by the Vice President for External Affairs and Quality Assurance (VPEAQA), Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, a session on the OPCR and DPCR Cascading and Calibration Workshop was held yesterday, February 13, 2025, at the Main Campus' STRDI Center.

Dr. Castro provided the session's rationale and took the lead in discussing key points that look to ensure that departmental objectives and accomplishments are aligned with the University's overarching goals and optimize resources, strategies, and efforts towards achieving desired institutional outcomes. The said workshop is a crucial initiative designed to promote accountability, transparency, and continuous institutional progress.

Main Campus' Planning Officer III, Mr. Celito Rapada, led the presentation of the session's talking points and collected inputs from every participant. The workshop ultimately aims to establish a uniform format, standardized content indicators per office, and address concerns regarding formatting, structure, and version consistency of the OPCR/DPCR.

Furthermore, this calibration takes in all learned experiences in terms of every evaluation metric and integrates new performance indicators from the various accreditation processes that the institution has undergone, alongside existing metrics. This exercise will also serve as a key preparatory step for the upcoming ISO external audit and the University's enduring pursuit of higher goals in the SUC leveling.

QA Directors, Planning Heads, and Department Representatives from every concerned college and administrative unit across all campuses were gathered at the said calibration workshop.
