I am delighted to welcome you to the ESSU website, which outlines the assets, resources, accomplishments, and the brilliant men and women behind the emergence of our beloved University in the national scene of tertiary education. From the very start, we never intended to stop. On the contrary, we will continue to chase mastery in every undertaking until we reach the pinnacle. Then we will keep moving the yardstick, for that is the way to sustained excellence.

With the steady support of our steadfast partners in government and the private sectors, we see Eastern Samar State University continuing its upward trajectory in national prominence and towards global competitiveness in our delivery of top-notch instruction, research, and extension. This is our duty and our commitment.

We can assure everyone that the groundwork has already been laid and victories have already been earned. We have the badges to show for it. Glaring testaments to this are the steady turnout of impressive licensure examination results across our various programs, higher institutional than national passing rates, individual topnotchers, and multiple nationwide institutional top rankings.

Furthermore, we have been very consistent in our successful certification with various national and global accreditations and certifications such as the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Level 2: Proficiency in Management, PRIME HRM Level 2, ISO 9001:2015, AACCUP, and CHED's Certificate of Program Compliance. On all these accreditation standards, we are currently at work on earning the next step of higher accreditation level. Not to mention, our academic programs are also getting higher AACCUP accreditation levels after every evaluation period, and our course offerings across all five campuses are also getting closer to 100% COPC adherence with the Commission on Higher Education. Now we look ahead to at least a 3-Star Rating from the QS Stars World University Rankings and further strengthen our globalization targets.

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the entire ESSU workforce, from the leadership to every single employee across the board. All your contributions make all this possible. Keep doing all the good things that you do, and together we shall reach the apex. As you look around our website, we hope to give you a good grasp of our humble beginnings, what our journey has been like, how far we have now traveled, and what great promise our future holds. Along with the united dedication of all the people in our faculty and administrative services, as our short term and long term strategic plans come into fruition one at a time, it is our intention to proceed in the path of transparency and good governance, never veering away from our core values of excellence, accountability, and service.
