At the on-going International Faculty Mobility engagements, an audience of ESSU employees, faculty members, and students were treated to a scientific presentation and strategic insight on two separate sessions and venues at the Main Campus on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
For his first session, Dr. Ir, Iwan Aang Soenandi, UKRIDA's Director of Research and Community Service, gave a scientific discussion on "Enhancing Road Safety: A Lecture on Driver Fatigue Detection Using HRV Measurement." A wide audience of vehicle owners composed of ESSU employees and students graced the event at the 2nd floor of the Central Library. Dr. Iwan shared valuable insights on the latest research findings and technologies related to driver fatigue detection using HRV measurement, sparking a lively discussion among the audience.
In the afternoon, Dr. Iwan had a more focused engagement with the entire faculty of the College of Technology (COT), led by their Dean, Dr. Rowena P. Capada. The said discussion centered on sharing best practices to help the college in their research and extension agenda and aim for smarter targets.
