TWG on ESSU's College of Medicine Gears Up Through Syllabus Writeshop

Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) on the proposed ESSU College of Medicine convened for the crucial writeshop on crafting the syllabus for the Doctor of Medicine curriculum on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Faculty Lounge, ESSU Main Campus.

With the target launch getting closer by the day, the College of Medicine's TWG has been deep at work to ensure that all the boxes check out when the program finally opens its doors for those who qualify. Today's session was attended by key officials of the University, led by ESSU President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr.

Dr. Maria Socorro Campo, Municipal Health Officer of Salcedo, with more than 18 years of public health experience, served as the main resource person for the said writeshop. Meanwhile, resident consultants former ESSU President, Dr. Edmundo A. Campoto, and former ESSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Emilia L. Baquilod, took the podium to give their share of expert inputs in curriculum writing.

With a chest full of invaluable information from countless benchmarking and coaching sessions with several established institutions and accomplished experts, the team looks to apply the finishing touches on a complete and well-founded curriculum for the ESSU College of Medicine.
