ESSU's Quality Assurance & Accreditation Center (QAAC) gathered its Technical Working Group (TWG) members for the University's World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) application at the President's Conference Room, ESSU Main CCampus,on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, for an important orientation and workshop session.
The QAAC, under the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs and Quality Assurance (OVPEAQA) headed by Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, organized the said activity, which is a Workshop on WURI Orientation on Application, Data Preparation, and Submission Process.
Affording ESSU of her precious time and invaluable knowledge, former Samar State University (SSU) President and the driving force behind SSU's WURI success, Prof. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Ph.D., who is also currently the SVP for Programs Development & Quality Assurance of Samar Colleges, Inc., served as the resource speaker.
Prof. Cardoso's talk on Strategic Pathways to Success in WURI Rankings provided the team with critical information that promises to be instrumental in clinching the desired accreditation for ESSU, one that will further elevate the institution's standing in national and global higher education. The team also deliberated on the composition of the different committees and their respective roles.
