A Testimonial Luncheon for the 2023 Philippine Bar Examination passers of Eastern Samar State University is being held today, January 14, 2024, at Canuctan Hall.
On December 5, 2023, the Supreme Court of the Philippines officially announced the release of 3,812 new lawyers who successfully passed the 2023 Bar Exam. Of these successful passers, ESSU enlisted six (6) new lawyers, namely Atty. Rico C. Acopan, CPA, Atty. Albert B. Afable, Atty. Chris Ronnel C. Catubao, CPA, Atty. Rea Ann A. Lira, Atty. Rex E. Palada, and Atty. Vanessa L. Sesio.
The event is a momentous occasion for the University as it celebrates the outstanding achievement of the new breed of lawyers of ESSU who successfully passed the prestigious and highly challenging Philippine Bar Examination. Moreover, the testimonial luncheon serves as an inspiration to current law students of ESSU College of Law (CoL) and encourages them to strive for excellence in their own legal studies.
In attendance are esteemed guests, CoL faculty members, families, friends, and students, who joined together in honoring the remarkable success of the 2023 bar passers of ESSU.
The ESSU community, through its University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., congratulates these new lawyers and wishes them success in their future endeavors. The University takes great pride in their success and believes that they will bring honor and excellence to the legal field.
