Second Batch of ESSU Main Campus' Graduates Celebrate 61st Commencement Exercises with Hon. Yedda Romualdez

The graduates from the College of Law, College of Business Management & Accountancy, College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Science, College of Agriculture, College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, College of Technology, and College of Criminal Justice Education were filled with pride and excitement as they walked across the Canuctan Hall stage to receive their hard-earned diplomas today, June 10, 2024, during the 61st Commencement Exercises of ESSU Main Campus.

Hon. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, Tingog Party List Representative, graced the ceremony as the Commencement Speaker. In her speech, Hon. Romualdez reminded the graduates to carry three things with them in their pursuit of success—jewels that no one can take away from them: education, character, and faith.

Completing the lineup of distinguished guests were House Minority Leader and 4Ps Partylist Representative, Hon. Marcelino C. Libanan; Eastern Samar Governor, Hon. Ben P. Evardone; Eastern Samar Lone District Representative, Hon. Maria Fe R. Abunda, represented by Ms. Cora H. Basada; Borongan City Mayor, Hon. Jose Ivan Dayan C. Agda, represented by City Legal Officer, Atty. Romeo Alexis B. Devora; and Eastern Samar SP Member, Hon. Ralph Vincent ‘RV’ Evardone.

The entire ESSU community, headed by its University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., joins together in congratulating the Class of 2024, wishes them more success in their succeeding endeavors, and looks ahead to the day they become leaders, respected professionals, and instruments of social change for the betterment of our community.
