REMO Gathers University Custodians for a Breaking Record Keeping and Management

The University's Records Management Office (REMO) gathered all the record custodians and document handlers of all administrative units and colleges of the Main Campus for a short workshop on records keeping practices, policies, and procedures on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Central Library, ESSU Main Campus.

Ms. Corazon A. Anacio, Records Officer III, of the Main Campus took the lead in briefing the custodians and was assisted by Ms. Eleanor Balbin-Salas for the rationale of the workshop. The session centered on the most updated policies and procedures in the management, handling, and disposal of documentary records and communications circulated around the University.

Overseeing the workshop were the Vice President for Administration, Dr. Rhodora C. Mendoza, and the Vice President for External Affairs & Quality Assurance, Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro. The meeting aims to ensure that all records custodians are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining accurate, complete, and safeguarded University records.
