Eastern Samar State University's Research and Development Services Office (RDSO) arranged its final in-house review sessions for the calendar year 2024, conducted at the third floor of the Administration Building of the Main Campus on December 10 & 11, 2024.
Faculty researchers from across all campuses took turns in presenting their completed and proposed research studies for constructive scrutiny by the panel of evaluators. As is always the case, the 2-day session provides an avenue for the presentation and review of research outputs in diversified areas of study and the exchange of experiences and information between and among its participants.
The periodic exercise is also conducted to draw knowledge from various disciplines and redefine problems out of normal boundaries to convey and showcase research outputs of faculty researchers of the University System for potential funding, patenting, publication and utilization.
For the said sessions, the evaluating panel includes Vice President for Research, Extension & Innovation, Dr. Lito A. Lacaba; RDSO Assistant Director, Dr. Riomar A. Obliopas; former ESSU President, Dr. Edmundo A. Campoto; Training & Extension Services Office (TESO) Director, Dr. Ma. Natalia A. Ciasico; BA Communication Program Head, Prof. Leni A. Alzate; College of Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) Dean, Dr. Therese Toriano; Statistics Unit Head, Dr. Janette A. Rivera; College of Science's Mr. Aljon Victor G. Nibalvos, and Ms. Jeannette Marie Dua of CFAS.
