The University's Research and Development Services Office (RDSO) began its periodic institutional in-house review for the second quarter today, July 8, 2024, at RDSO, ESSU Main Campus.
The 2nd quarter institutional in-house review for the current academic year boasts a solid panel of evaluators led by perennial evaluator Dr. Edmundo A. Campoto, former ESSU President, and Prof. Leni A. Alzate, Head, Social Research & ESSU Faculty Member, who are both present at the venue.
The panel of evaluators is further complemented by Zoom participants: Dr. Ronelie A. Salvador, Retired Professor of UEP; Prof. Ronron Aruta, Qualitative Studies, LNU Faculty; Prof. Argie Inciso, Qualitative Studies, LNU Faculty; Prof. Riomar Obliopas, Qualitative Studies, ESSU Faculty; Engr. Abegail G. Bordios, IT Studies, SSU Faculty; Engr. Mirador Labrador, Technical/IT Studies, SSU Vice President-Research; Prof. Oliver R.T. Paderanga, Technical/Fisheries Studies, CPSC Faculty; Ernesto B. Montes, Jr., Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist, DTI-RO8; and, Dr. Janette A. Rivera, Head-Statistics Unit, ESSU Faculty.
A number of completed and proposed research by members of the ESSU faculty from the various colleges across all campuses are in line for presentation and examination by the members of the panel.
The university's RDSO continues to intensify its call and support for its faculty researchers to constantly produce impactful studies & academic research not only for professional advancement but also for personal enrichment and the never-ending pursuit of knowledge. More importantly, as R&D Director, Prof. Ma. Natalia A. Ciasico stressed, it is the collective duty of the entire ESSU faculty to explore every avenue of societal improvement, as the prime academic institution in this part of the country.
