The office of ESSU Main Campus' Student Scholarship and Financial Assistance (SSFA) distributed a total of PhP 3,680,000 worth of financial grants to 319 student beneficiaries on August 19, 2024, at the Students' Pavilion, Main Campus.
SSFA Head, Prof. Jocelyn C. Mendoza, and Scholarship Coordinator, Prof. Fatima M. Suyot, in coordination with the University Cashier Officer, Mr. Charles Vincent D. Lim, facilitated the distribution of the said cash assistance to ESSU Main Campus student beneficiaries.
103 recipients of Php 20,000 from the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and 216 beneficiaries of Php 7,500 from the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) received their grants.
It can be recalled that ESSU received the checks for the said scholarship programs, which were handed over by CHEDRO8 Director, Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe himself, on July 19, 2024, during the COPC Validation visit by the CHED delegation.
