The University’s office of the Research Development and Extension (RDE) and Innovation Center under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Extension (OVPRIE) organized a Training Workshop on Crafting and Developing Office Operations Manual (OOM) for Research and Innovation Center of ESSU, held on March 20-21, 2025, at the STRDIC Audio-Visual Room, Main Campus.
Directors of the different Research and Innovation centers from the various campuses were gathered for the said workshop, which brought in respected experts in the persons of Dr. Marife Mustacisa-Lacaba, SSU’s Director of Center for Lifelong Learning (CeLL), and Prof. Lemuel Karl A. Tadios, Faculty Researcher/Extensionist of SSU’s CeLL. Resident ESSU experts, Engr. Elizabeth Z. Calvo, ESSU Main’s STRDIC Director, and Dr. Rogelio L. Padit, Research and Development Director for ESSU Salcedo Campus, also shared their proficiency in the matter.
The said workshop aims to improve research directors' Office Operations Manual skills, develop specific OOMs for university Research and Innovation Centers, and boost their productivity. The workshop offers consultation with the experts on research and innovation, paving the way for the establishment of new research and innovation centers for various university fields.
