Organized by the ESSU Main Campus' Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), teaching and non-teaching employees filled the Teatro Ibabawnon on August 28, 2024, for an IT skills training titled "Empowering Digital Proficiency: Bridging IT Skills for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff."

College of Computer Studies (CCS) faculty members, Mr. Eleaczar A. Arma and Ms. Ruth Ella D. Tangara, served as resource speakers who discussed topics in Understanding Digital Tools and Platforms, Cyber Security Awareness, and Utilizing IT Resources in Teaching. Moreover, Knowledge Management Office (KMO) Director, Dr. Jennifer B. Abogaa, provided a lecture on IT Support and Resources for her part.

In his message, University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., gave an earnest reminder to the employees that acquiring skills that keep up with the digital world is everyone's duty, reiterating ESSU's vision for a technologically advanced university producing professionals and competitive leaders for local and national development.

Recognizing that learning and development are pivotal for individual growth and organizational success, the HRMO aims to equip participants with essential IT competencies tailored for navigating the digital landscape of education through this seminar.

Additionally, the seminar aligns with institutional goals by prioritizing integrating technology into teaching and administrative functions to enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiency. This helps employees understand the relevance of their skill development to the broader objectives of the institution.
