Indonesian Experts of UKRINA Wrap Up International Faculty Mobility with Lectures on Soil Health,Smart Systems and Modern Work Methods

On the penultimate day of the International Faculty Mobility exercises, the Indonesian experts returned to in-campus activities on select venues at the Main Campus on Thursday, October 10, 2024, after conducting field activities the previous day.

 

At the 2nd Floor Central Library, the group of Biomed Specialist, Dr. Inneke Kusumawati Susanto, composed of the students from the College of Science, the College of Agriculture, and the College of Nursing & Allied Sciences, presented their laboratory results from the soil and crop samples collected the previous day. Dr. Inneke also shared expert inputs on "Investigating Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) Contamination in Locally Produced Vegetables.".

 

Dr. Ivan Tanra, a Smart Systems Engineer gave a talk on "Building a Smart System to Empower Society: Iteractive Room for Children" before the entire faculty of the College of Engineering (COE). The lecture centered on utilizing existing technology and developing innovations that make activities for children physical, interactive, and intellectual, making sure that children work with technology instead of merely being passive users.

 

Before an audience with the Human Resource Office, the third year BS in Business Administration students from the College of Business Management & Accountancy (CBMA) and the Master in Management students of the Graduate School, Industrial Engineer and ergonomics expert Dr. Ir, Iwan Aang Soenandi, gave a lecture on "Modern Work Method & Productivity Measurement" with special attention to the local setting.
