With the success of the inaugural ESSUlympics, we are pleased to announce the winners of the games and festivities held on August 7-8, 2024 at ESSU Main Campus.
The University leadership would like to extend its appreciation to the men & women behind the success of this exercise which includes the ESSU Federated Faculty Association ably spearheaded by our very own Faculty Regent, Hon. Gershon Escoto, ESSU Main's Sports & Fitness Director, Mr. Robby Ylanan, Faculty Association President, Dr. Delbert A. Dala, ESSU Union President, Mr. Alfredo B. Cebricus, together with the faculty association focal persons of every external campus.
With the triumph of the inaugural games, the organizers look to have the event held every two years. The biennial engagement will be an integral part in uplifting the fitness & overall health of ESSU employees while nurturing camaraderie, sportsmanship and a deeper sense of community among the entire workforce of the University from all the seven (7) campuses.
The Mr. & Ms. ESSUlympics search also proved to be a highly anticipated part of the events, showing that the roster of ESSU faculty and administrative personnel is laiden with beauty and talent. While Can-avid campus emerged the big winners in the Mr. & Ms. ESSUlympics search, ESSU Guiuan was declared as the overall winners in the ESSUlympics 2024 games.
