HRMO Provides Onboarding Orientation to New Employees

The University’s Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), led by Ms. Raquel A. Sabido, HRMO Head, conducted an onboarding orientation for new employees from the recent Revised Organization and Staffing Standards (ROSS) at the ESSU Central Library, ESSU Main Campus on May 17, 2024.

Ms. Sabido briefed the new employees with the different leave benefits, documentary requirements and the conditions for availing them. Internal Control Office Head, Ms. Leyni C. Yape discussed the travel regulations, entitlements, and documentary requirements of ESSU employees while Records Management Office (REMO) Head, Ms. Corazon, spoke on her office’s records management practice and how the various offices of the university can secure certified true copies of documents for pertinent use.

Ms. Janice Dyan G. Quiloña, HRMO Head of ESSU Can-avid campus imparted a comprehensive discussion on the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) used by the University for monitoring and evaluating employee performance which is a major criteria in ISO certification that the university makes sure to adhere to.

Director for Internship Program, Dr. Lucila A. Caballa-Habac, provided an informative talk about Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, a fundamental element in the fulfillment of duty with internal and external clients as public servants.

The said event is being organized compliant to the HRMO’s duty of guaranteeing that employees are sufficiently aware of the institutional processes, culture and standing principles of ESSU and ensure that they are also informed of their privileges and entitlements as part of the University’s workforce.
