Through its ongoing partnership with Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) of Indonesia, ESSU takes an important role in co-hosting the International Conference on Sustainability Through Humanities and Social Sciences (ICSHSS) 2024, being held virtually from December 2-3, 2024.
The said conference is organized and hosted by UKRIDA as part of their 57th Anniversary celebration, participated in by ESSU as their Philippine partner and a few other partner universities from Indonesia. ICSHSS 2024 boasts a lineup of esteemed international experts as resource speakers. Headlining among them is the Keynote Speaker, Mr. Byron Good, B.D., Ph.D., and Professor of Medical Anthropology from Harvard University, USA.
Furthermore, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., ESSU President, Dr. Katherine Corado, Assistant Director for International Affairs, and other faculty members stand as scientific reviewers in the parallel sessions where researchers from different international partner institutions will present their studies covering various specialties in Economic and Business Behavioral Sciences and Language Studies.
ESSU students and faculty members from select programs participated in the conference virtually from the Teatro Ibabawnon and the Conference Room of the Smart Technologies Building in the Main Campus.
