ESSU Reinforces Commitment to Research Through First In-House Review of 2025

The University’s Research and Development Services Office (RDSO) kickstarted its pursuit of its 2025 Calendar Year (CY) targets with the1st In-house Review of Completed and Proposed Research Studies through a two-day session held on March 27–28, 2025, at the Main Campus’ Central Library and STRDIC AVR simultaneously.

University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., was on deck to open the sessions with a message reminding the faculty researchers of their duties not only in the field of instruction but also in research and enjoining them to embrace this duty. Moreover, Dr. Pagatpatan also revealed the bigger incentives awaiting them for each completed and SCOPUS-published research, currently for approval by the BOR. The said proposal is part of the University’s invigorated commitment to research and innovation, which is also in alignment with the SUC levelling and globalization goals of ESSU.

Through the leadership of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension (VPRIE), Dr. Lito D. Lacaba, and RSDO Director Dr. Delbert A. Dala, ESSU has a strengthened commitment to elevate its research outputs this year and focus on qualitative and technical research undertakings to level up with the best in the academic world.

The said session gathers the institution’s resident experts in respective fields of research to review and provide feedback to research proposals and completed studies by the faculty researchers from the different colleges, as well as exchange experiences and information between and among its participants.
