The Eastern Samar State University in partnership with the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Resources Program (ViCARP) receives ICT equipment amounting to more than 500 thousand pesos from DOST-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, Natural Resources Research Development (PCAARRD). This initiative aimed at enhancing the ICT infrastructure of ViCARP and its member institutions particularly in the conduct of ICT-hosted meetings such as zoom or google meet, thereby improving ICT connectivity for efficient communication.
These ICT equipment was formally turned over last July 29, 2024 and was received by Dr. Lito D. Lacaba, VP-RDE and Mrs. Elizabeth Calvo, IT expert, representing the University President.
Per instruction of the President, the said equipment will be installed at the SMART Center of the University which can be utilized for important events of the universities requiring virtual meetings/conferences.
