In another resounding success, the Bachelor of Science in Social Work program of ESSU Main Campus delivers a tremendous performance result in the 2024 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) relased today, September 24, 2024, by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
An impressive 36 out of the 37 first-time takers from the University successfully passed the SWLE or a whopping 97.30% institutional passing rate, which is heaps above the national passing rate of 64.50% (4,587 out of 7,113). Moreover, ESSU firmly stamps its mark by ranking at an impressive second place nationwide, among institutions with at least 10-50 takers and at least 80% institutional passing rate.
More impressively, ESSU has shown decisive consistency since the pioneer batch of the program took on the board exams in the 2022 edition, by registering an institutional passing rate of 95% or higher and placing 3rd or better in the national institutional rankings since then.
Undoubtedly, this performance is another outcome of the culture of excellence of ESSU and an immediate result of the committed hard work of the University's College of Arts & Social Sciences (CASS) headed by its Dean, Dr. Anbony D. Cuanico, together with its Social Work faculty members, led by its Program Head, Prof. Ethanie Irish A. Guilleno.
The entire ESSU community pronounces its pride with the passers and the entire program for such a commendable performance. One huge congratulations to everyone involved. You bring us great honor and immense pride!
