ESSU Main Campus Employes Undergo Two-day Seminar on Ethical Standards

In its enhanced efforts to avoid unwanted incidents and address pressing issues in governance, the Eastern Samar State College leadership and Employees Union organized a two-day seminar at the main campus on the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials on October 30-31, 2024.

The seminar is intended for all ESSU employees, including teaching, non-teaching, lecturers, and job order personnel. Spearheading the resource speakers for the said seminar is none other than ESSU President, Dr. Andres C. Pagstpatan, Jr. himself, who briefed his flock on "Upholding Integrity at ESSU & Ethical Standards for Public Officials" at the Teatro Ibabawnon.

The said seminar is centered on and serves to remind all ESSU employees of Republic Act No. 6713, which is the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. ESSU Main's GAD Director, Atty. Dulce Lyn B. Payod and OIC-CAO Atty. Maria Lourdes Isabel C. Arevalo conducted a presentation and an open forum on RA 6713 at the Canuctan Hall.

The University leadership intends to provide the same seminar to all employees of all its seven campuses to ensure sufficient reiteration of the ethical standards with the entire ESSU workforce across the board.
