ESSU Main Campus' 65th Founding Anniversary Celebration Commences with a Parade and Tribute to Founder Felipe Abrigo

The line-up of activities in celebration of ESSU's 65th Founding Anniversary kicked off with a parade around the Main Campus today, June 20, 2024. The University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatapatan, and Mr. Sheen Apol Gonzales, the representative of the Abrigo family, then led the wreath-laying ceremony at the Felipe Abrigo Monument, along with the college deans and candidates for Mr. and Ms. ESSU Employee 2024. The wreath-laying ceremony was a solemn and respectful moment to honor the University's founder, Felipe J. Abrigo, and to reflect on the institution's rich history and legacy.

The celebration will continue this afternoon with the opening of the Research and Innovation Exhibit and Tinipigan Museum, followed by a Thanksgiving Mass and a program wherein loyalty awardees will be recognized and the Mr. and Ms. ESSU Employee 2024 will be crowned.
