To streamline University core functions in instruction, research, extension, and administration, key officials convened in a Performance Review and Strategic Planning Worskhop today, October 25, 2025, at the Faculty Lounge, ESSU Main Campus.
University Vice Presidents, Campus Administrators, College Deans, Directors, and Unit Heads met under the leadership of University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr. to deliberate and formulate a thorough plan for the institution's future. A status report on the University, including its accomplishments and opportunities for growth, was presented at the outset of the meeting. In his 2023 quarterly President's Reports, Dr. Pagatpatan detailed the achievements and noteworthy events at ESSU.
Moreover, the workshop aimed to align the University's goals and objectives with current strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborative discussions and brainstorming sessions were done through a SWOT-TOWS analysis on the operations of each college and office. The participants explored ways to improve academic programs, enhance research and extension activities, and optimize administrative processes to ensure the University's continued success and growth.
The Strategic Planning and Workshop served as a crucial platform for all key officials to come together and chart a clear roadmap for the future of ESSU.
