A team of validators from the Department of Budget Management (DBM) Regional Office 8, led by its Director, Ms. Imelda C. Laceras, CESO III, was welcomed by the ESSU leadership at the Faculty Lounge of the Main Campus on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, for an On-site Validation.
Director Laceras was with the rest of her group of validators from the DBM RO8, including Chief Budget & Management Specialists, Ms. Florita M. Lacdo-o & Ms. Liberace N. Limsiaco, and Supervising Budget and Management Specialist, Ms. Rhona B. Capatoy.
The team was welcomed by none other than ESSU President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., along with all University Vice Presidents, Dr. Rhodora C. Mendoza, VP for Administration, Dr. Aris A. Lapada VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lito D. Lacaba, VP for Research Development and Extension, and Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, VP for External Affairs & Quality Assurance.
In the said activity, ESSU Project and Development Officer III, Engr. Jenith L. Banaldia presented the 2023-2024 Completed and On-going Capital Outlay Infrastructure Projects while Chief Budget Officer, Ms. Gemma B. Paano, did the presentation of the Non-infrastructure Projects. ESSU Maydolong Campus Administrator and Procurement Officer, Dr. Jerald P. Torillo, took charge in presenting the 2025 Capital Outlay Projects.
Meanwhile, the VP for Administration, Dr. Rhodora Mendoza, presented the Proposed Projects for 2026. One of the highlights of the said validation visit was the team’s ocular inspection of the College of Medicine building, which is now undergoing the finishing touches and installations.
