Respective colleges and the office of Student Services and Alumni Affairs (SSAA) organized a joint testimonial lunch on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the Canuctan Hall, ESSU Main Campus, for their new professionals from four programs who recently passed their licensure examinations.
Successful passers of the Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE), the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam (REELE), and the Social Workers Licensure Exam (SWLE) were the recipients of the testimonial lunch, which filled the venue.
For his message, ESSU President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan Jr. urged the honorees to embody the ESSU core values of service, excellence, and stressing accountability in their respective endeavors. Dr. Pagatpatan underscored that each step they take moving forward, they alone bear responsibility and accountability for the outcomes of their actions. Therefore, they must make a conscious effort to ensure their actions consistently reflect their names and ESSU, their alma mater.
In his message, OIC Vice President of Academic Affairs and SSAA Director, Dr. Aris Lapada, expressed his pride in seeing the student passers finally achieve early success as young professionals and thanked them for the honor they bring to the university.
Select passers from the four programs gave different testimonies on their respective journeys, gave pointers to their undergrad counterparts, and honored their teachers and families for their tireless support and guidance.
