Eastern Samar State University conducted a significant orientation on the Strategic Transition Plan Implementation and Enrollment using the Student Information and Accounting System (SIAS) in preparation for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Held at the IT Laboratory, ESSU Main Campus, the activity was presided over by University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., together with Mr. Alfredo D. Cebricus, J.D., ICTC Director of ESSU Main Campus.
The session gathered Campus Administrators, College Deans, Program Heads, and other key personnel from across all ESSU campuses to align institutional efforts towards a streamlined and fully digitalized enrollment process. This initiative marks a crucial milestone in ESSU’s commitment to digital transformation, as the SIAS platform is set to modernize the way student data, enrollment transactions, and accounting systems are managed—improving accessibility, efficiency, and service delivery.
Participants were given a comprehensive walkthrough of the Strategic Transition Plan, including system functionalities, user responsibilities, and technical support mechanisms. Hands-on sessions were also conducted to familiarize attendees with the platform ahead of the first semester rollout.
With strong leadership and collaborative participation, ESSU is on track to deliver a more efficient and student-centered academic service.
