Represented by its key officials, ESSU completed an agreement with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) with a MOA signing at the University President’s Conference Room, ESSU Main Campus on May 21, 2024.
Representatives from DPWH RO8, Architect I, Bovyn Mar M. Rostata, Project Inspector, Mr. Louie Luxie B. Gumba along with Mr. Jasper I. Cañete and Mr. Felix S. Salceda were welcomed by ESSU President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., ESSU Guiuan Campus Administrator, Prof. Jared Harem Q. Celis, IPDES PDO III, Engr. Jenith L. Banaldia, Dean of the College of Law, Atty. Dulce Amor Beato, and Procurement Officer, Dr. Jerald P. Torillo.
The MOA signing is in faithful compliance to R.A. 11975, otherwise known as the General Appropriations Act of 2024 provision that states, “the DPWH shall implement the project of SUCs exceeding Five Million Pesos (P5,000,000)” as the said ESSU Guiuan Criminology Laboratory Building total project cost is P15,000,000.
This project is yet another display of effective inter-agency partnership involving ESSU and further confirmation of the university’s efforts to provide better facilities to its students and make learning as conducive as possible.
