The 1st Joint Finance, Administrative, and Program Standards Committee Meeting for CY 2025 is currently being held today, February 8, at the President's Conference Room, ESSU Main Campus.
The meeting focuses on the review and approval of proposals for various University initiatives, programs, and projects for endorsement to the Board of Regents (BOR) Meeting scheduled on February 11.
The Finance Committee is chaired by Hon. Atty. Gilbert A. Escoto, represented onsite by ESSU Faculty Regent, Hon. Gershon G. Escoto, Jr., while the Administrative and Program Standards Committee is chaired by ESSU Alumni Regent, Hon. Estelita D. Calvo. The meeting brings together key University leaders to ensure a thorough and inclusive decision-making process.
Present at the venue are ESSU BOR members, Hon. Reynaldo C. Dorado, Sr., and Student Regent, Hon. Clarence Earl M. Blanco, along with University BOR Secretary, Dr. Debbie Joyce R. Voloso, who is facilitating the session. Joining remotely via Zoom are BOR members, Hon. Meylene C. Rosales and Hon. John Glenn D. Ocaña.
The committees are actively deliberating on significant proposals that aim to advance the University’s programs, enhance administrative systems, and optimize financial strategies. Their ongoing discussions and approvals are pivotal for the final review during the upcoming special BOR meeting.
