As an institution advocating sustainable development and community empowerment, Dr. Andres C. Pagatapatan, Jr., University President, represented ESSU at the Cerominal Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) today, July 5, 2024, held at the Regional Operations Center, DSWD Office VIII, Government Center, Candahug, Palo, Leyte.
The signing of MOA represents a substantial advancement in the collaborative endeavors of DSWD, its partners and stakeholders to improve the sustainability of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), which will benefit the marginalized, poor, and vulnerable communities in Eastern Visayas.
Under the MOA, ESSU will serve as a partner institution in the implementation of livelihood projects for the beneficiaries of the SLP. The University looks forward to making a positive impact and contributing to the success of the program in the region.
