Making good on their purposeful visit in the on-going International Faculty Mobility exercises, faculty guests from the Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) of West Jakarta, Indonesia, conduct informative presentations on relevant subjects on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at different venues.
At the Canuctan Hall, UKRIDA's Head of Research Unit and Mechanical Engineer for Smart Systems, Dr. Ivan Tanra, provided a presentation on "Building a Smart System to Empower Society" before the students and faculty members of the College of Engineering (COE). The discussion offered fresh information on ground-breaking technologies relevant to daily societal affairs that the students can use as inspiration for their academic projects for potential use in the local setting.
Dr. Ivan's presentation highlighted the importance of integrating smart systems into society to improve efficiency and productivity. The students and faculty members were engaged and inspired by Dr. Ivan's talk, realizing the immense potential of smart systems in solving real-world problems and making a positive impact on society. His presentation served as a call to action for the future engineers to think innovatively and develop solutions that can enhance their communities.
