In honor of its BAR Passers from the examination results released last December of 2024, Eastern Samar State University Main Campus' College of Law (CoL) and their student council honored their new lawyers in a Testimonial Luncheon on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Canuctan Hall.
Practically the entire community of the ESSU Law School manifested their pride by showing up for the said celebration, including their faculty and studentry from all year levels, complemented by the proud families of the new legal professionals.
CoL produced seven (7) lawyers from the said BAR Examination, which is one better than the previous BAR results. Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Vicente A. Agda, Jr., heaped praises on the new lawyers for their impressive accomplishment and expressed his gratitude for bringing immense pride to the ESSU Community.
College of Law Dean, Atty. Maria Lourdes Isabel C. Arevalo, acknowledged the unprecedented hard work that brought the honorees to their success, gave props to the families for their unconditional support and inspiration, honored the faculty members for their invaluable contributions, and urged the law students in attendance to appreciate the moment and see what great promise lies ahead of them.
As guests of honor, also joining the celebrations to express their congratulations to the new lawyers and welcome them into the fold of law practice were Hon. Editho A. Castillo, Jr., City Prosecutor of Borongan, and Hon. Jose Vicente Raymundo M. Opinion, Eastern Samar Chief Provincial Prosecutor.
