The 2-day International Conference on Sustainability Through Humanities and Social Sciences (ICSHSS) 2024, organized by Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) of Indonesia, concluded emphatically for ESSU as co-host by winning the Third Best Paper among a multitude of presenters from a number of international partner institutions.
After the parallel sessions were wrapped up on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Dr. Dymphna Ann C. Calumpiano, Dean of the College of Business Management and Accountancy of the Main Campus, was awarded by the panel of scientific reviewers with the Third Best Paper for her study entitled "Financial Management Practices and Stability of Micro-business in Borongan City, Eastern Samar."
The entire ESSU community, through the leadership of University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., expresses its warmest congratulations to Dr. Calumpiano for securing such recognition, which is no ordinary feat.
ICSHSS 2024 is organized and hosted by UKRIDA as part of their 57th Anniversary celebration. Through its ongoing internationalization partnership, ESSU co-hosted the said conference with some faculty members and key officials sitting as members of the panel of scientific reviewers.
