In the continuing partnership between ESSU and the Department of Social Welfare & Development (DSWD), beneficiaries of the Cash For Work Program (CFWP) lined up at Canuctan Hall, ESSU Main Campus to receive their first payout today, July 11, 2024.
Exactly a month ago, the University's Student Services & Alumni Affairs (SSAA) offices across campuses, organized the orientation of the beneficiaries together with DSWD at the same venue. Consequently, the beneficiaries were deployed to their respective assignments the following week.
This current batch of beneficiaries will be completing 60 more days in their agencies and offices of assignment after which they can either be absorbed depending on their performance and the agency's needs or they may also look at other options should they choose to. Either way, they will be bringing with them substantial work experience from their CFWP employment.
