The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center (QAAC) exerts its final push in the cascading and data consolidation for the University's application for the QS Stars University Ratings by gathering all the stakeholders at the Main Campus yesterday, October 1, 2024, at the Teatro Ibabawnon.
QAAC Director, Prof. Maricar T. Obina, led the way together with the Vice Presidents, Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro, VP for Quality Assurance & External Affairs, Dr. Aris A. Lapada, OIC-VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lito D. Lacaba, VP for Research & Extension, and Dr. Rhodora C. Mendoza, VP for Administrative Services.
QS Stars is a global university rating system that provides a detailed look at an institution, and evaluates universities based on a comprehensive set of criteria including Teaching, Social Impact, Facilities, Employability, Academic Development,Specialist Programmed, Diversity and Equity Inclusion, Global Engagement, and Good Governance.
Inclusion in the QS Stars University Rankings positions ESSU in a prime neighborhood along with the most prominent tertiary institutions in the country and enlists the University in the global market for international collaboration in terms of student and faculty exchange as well as for various globalization exercises that will guarantee to elevate ESSU to unprecedented heights.
