Students flock to the 2nd Floor Main Library today, January 14, 2024, for the Direkta Ayuda student assistance distribution of the City Government of Borongan.
According to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), a total of Php4,404,000.00 financial assistance will be distributed today to 2,936 students of Eastern Samar State University Main Campus. Each student will receive Php1,500.00 as financial support.
The University, through its University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., recognizes the initiative of the City Government of Borongan, which understands the importance of education and is committed to supporting the youth in their pursuit of knowledge. The financial assistance distribution is a significant step towards ensuring that students have the resources they need for their education. This support from the City Government of Borongan will not only alleviate the financial burden on students but also motivate them to excel academically.
The student assistance distribution will continue until 5 p.m. today.
