ESSU Main Campus' Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) programs submitted to a 3-day online accreditation evaluation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. from September 2 to 4, 2024, via the Zoom platform.
The team of evaluators is composed of Dr. Renelda P. Nacianceno, the Overall Coordinator and Lead Accreditor for the BEED Program; Dr. Divinagracia M. De Guzman, Team Leader for the BEED Program; Dr. Romeo T. Quintos, Jr., Team Leader for the BSED Program; and Dr. Maria Cristina J. Baesa, Lead Accreditor for the BSED Program.
The ESSU leadership was in full force, under the direction of University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., to accommodate the AACCUP Team. During the rigorous evaluation process, the entire College of Education (COED) faculty and staff, spearheaded by their Dean, Dr. Arnel A. Balbin, and Associate Dean, Dr. Rowena A. The said online evaluation is the 4th visit and Phase 2 of the Level 4 accreditation that the two programs are aiming to complete. With phase 2 now concluded, the University awaits the result of the deliberation by the accreditors while positively hoping for a favorable outcome in the coming days as the programs prepare for the next stages of the process with the ultimate goal of a successful accreditation.
