As the perennial host of the International Conference on Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (ICIDRRM), members of ESSU's organizing committees have ramped up preparations for the 11th edition of the annual conference set for next week, November 27-29, 2024.
The team gathered today, November 21, 2024, at the Smart Technologies Building at the ESSU Main Campus to finalize matters on technical arrangements, venue and logistics preparations, and program of activities among others.
At the forefront of hosting the upcoming three-day activity is the University’s Office of the Vice President for Research Development and Extension, led by Dr. Lito D. Lacaba, with the College of Science Dean, Dr. Noba F. Hilvano as the Conference Chair, and in partnership with the Office of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovations, and Futures Thinking (SDGIFT) and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Eastern Samar.
