College Goals:

1. Provide relevant and responsive advanced programs in education, agriculture, health, science and technology, industrial education, business education, and allied disciplines consistent with the university mandate;
2. Promote the conduct of research and other scholarly activities in various areas of concern;
3. Conduct relevant and sustainable extension activities and engage in income generating projects to improve the quality of life of its clients in the service areas; and
4. Develop leadership and management skills in mobilizing human resources vital to national progress and global competitiveness.

Program Objectives:

The graduate of Master of Engineering shall:

1. Acquire the ability to establish themselves as professional in the practice of Civil Engineering;
2. Be expected to work efficiently as responsible professionals alone or in teams hence handling increasingly complex professional and societal expectations;
3. Master the analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills necessary for successful leadership in their chosen field;
4. Engage in life-long learning trough participation in professional societies, continuing education and professional development, research and self-study in order to use state of the art knowledge to design and build safe and effective buildings and infrastructures and/or provide high quality service to the general public, employers, clients and other professionals;
5. Successfully practice as civil engineering specialists in their respective fields for the welfare of society and nation building;
6. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in the workplace.
