In keeping with its digitalization and SMART Campus objectives, ESSU conducted a systems briefing on the long overdue automated and digital registrar database system at the ICTC Laboratory Building, ESSU Main Campus, today, November 18, 2024.
An expert from the third-party database systems provider conducted the dissemination before an audience composed of Campus Administrators, Deans, Program Heads, faculty members, and concerned registrar personnel across all campuses.
The said workshop highlighted the system's functionalities, registration, and information input procedures. The participants were also briefed on the permission method and approval structure of the database system, illustrating a defined check & balance process.
This major leap in database management is a deliberate push by the University in addressing lingering issues on the enrollment process and the release of student and alumni records. This recent development hopes to significantly improve the services of the registrar's office and better serve the institution's clientele.
