In a Facebook post, Badillo expressed her gratitude to fellow faculty members for their outpouring generosity in volunteering to share their extra goods from their own kitchens for the Pantry.
The recent emergence of community pantries has been the initiative of 26-year-old Ana Patricia Non of the Maginhawa Community Pantry, to which a multitude of similar initiatives have been adopted across the country.
