Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) continues to advance its internationalization initiatives through its partnership with Kun Shan University (KSU), Taiwan, under the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) 2026.
Two ESSU faculty delegates, Mr. Antonio Abrajano and Mr. Mark Anthony Pagatpatan, were officially accepted as research immersion participants at KSU. They departed for Taiwan on October 23, 2026, and are expected to complete the program on December 31, 2026. Their immersion provides opportunities for international research and hands-on training in electric vehicles, automotive electronics, smart manufacturing, and vehicle systems validation.
This initiative was made possible through the leadership and support of University President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr.; Vice President for External Affairs and Quality Assurance Dr. Jocelyn S. Castro; ESSU Guiuan Campus Administrator Prof. Jared Harem Q. Celis; and ESSU Internationalization Office.
ESSU extends its appreciation to Kun Shan University for this valuable opportunity, reaffirming the University’s commitment to global academic mobility, research collaboration, and international knowledge exchange.
