IPOU Conducts Stakeholder's Forum on ESSU Trademark Licensing and Utilization

To foster awareness on the ESSU Policy on Trademark Licensing and Utilization, the offices of Intellectual Property, Innovation and Technology Support, and Knowledge and Technology Transfer came together to organize the IPOU Stakeholder’s Forum today, December 15, 2023, at the 2nd Floor Main Library.

The forum provided a platform for key stakeholders, including researchers and inventors across ESSU campuses, to delve into a comprehensive dialogue about the intricacies of the policy.

With ESSU's trademark at the center of the discussion, participants explored the various aspects of trademark licensing and utilization. The policy, approved by the Board of Regents (BOR), serves as a guiding framework for the University's approach to trademark licensing. It outlines the procedures and guidelines for the proper utilization of ESSU's trademark, ensuring that it is protected and used in a manner that aligns with the university's values and objectives.
