With the purpose of drawing insights from all the participants of the annual convergence through providing a holistic and federal platform for stakeholders to come up with disaster resilient infrastructure, disaster risk-reduction strategies, human rights and environmental protection, the conference presented 36 researches and 17 poster presentations conducted by various institutions and agencies. Present during the conference were officers, researchers, planners and members of the academe from Eastern Samar State University, Main Campus, Eastern Samar State University, External Campuses, members of the Local Government Units, SUCs from all over the country and guests to discuss informative and emerging topics on disaster management.
The Eastern Samar State University as a DRRM champion once again exhibited its commitment to the crucial role that the institution plays as a leading advocate of disaster risk reduction management through hosting the annual ICIDRRM, now in its 5th year.
